Not all antiviruses are as reliable as you think.
It is strongly recommended that you install an antivirus on your computer or smartphone. However, the choice is so wide that it is complicated to choose the right antivirus. Especially since Rack911 Labs has just revealed that 28 antiviruses, some of which are well known and often recommended, are vulnerable to basic attacks.
Rack911 Labs lists Microsoft Defender, McAfee Endpoint Security and Malwarebytes as software susceptible to cyber attacks that aims to delete files from a computer and cause remote crashes.

As of now, cybersecurity specialists have been reporting to these antivirus developers so that they can fix these security vulnerabilities. For the 28 listed above, they are now all up to date and in working order. Rack911 Labs explains that the list could be much longer, but preferred to focus on the most popular. In addition, media coverage should prompt all antivirus developers to be cautious and check their systems.
